Borrowing Information

Items for borrowing
are available to members of the Association.
Books, music and
articles will be consigned to members who are responsible for the cost of
handling and postage from the library and subsequent return. There will be
a levy for books that are returned late. The late fee is $5 per item.
No more than a total
of three (3) items can be borrowed at one time
The loan period is
limited to four (4) weeks
The loan period can be
extended for two (2) more weeks by phone or email provided the items have
not been reserved.
Requests for items may
be placed up to 2pm on every Thursday to ensure books arrive at the
earliest that Friday or the Monday. If requests are made after this time
the items will be posted the following week.
Postage and handling
will be calculated and an invoice put in the mail shortly after items have
been posted. We request that payment be made as soon as convenient.
Apart from handling
costs and the possible incursion of late fees, the association does not
levy any 'user fee' for MTAQ members.
You will receive an
email or phone reminder a week before items are due back.
