SUMMARY OF WRITTEN and VERBAL FEEDBACK FROM 2006 ALAN LANE MEMORIAL WEEKEND "HARMONIOUS REEFLECTIONS" hosted by Cairns Branch MTAQ on the Saturday and Sunday of the May Day weekend.

Feedback sheets abounded with generous praise for the preparation, organisation, brochures, favourable costs, sample bags, venues (3) and excellent choice of top class presenters.  Lunches and morning/afternoon teas were given high approval and the trade and examining colleges' displays were appreciated and well patronised.

A few  participants remarked that they would have preferred not to have had to choose between sessions which of necessity were scheduled to run concurrently, and suggested the May Day Monday holiday could have been utilised to overcome this.  However prior inquiries among local and tableland teachers showed that this was not preferred, and although  the day concerned was a public holiday in Queensland this was not the case elsewhere, so the interstate-based presenters would not have been able to be present.
