Introducing
Regis Danillon
MMus, ARCM (Hons)
Regis
Danillon has extensive experience in teaching music to students of all ages,
having worked consistently as a private music teacher, as well as a Keyboard
Lecturer, for twenty six years at a tertiary institution.
He has studied in Australia,
England and France and was awarded an ARCM (Hons) at the London Royal College
of Music. Regis also holds a Masters Degree in Performance from the
University of Queensland.
He is an accomplished and well-known
pianist, having established a performing career, which includes solo recitals,
concertos with orchestra and partnership with many distinguished singers and
instrumentalists of international reputation.
He travels regularly throughout
the country as guest lecturer and tutor for Master classes and Seminars and has
adjudicated numerous Eisteddfods in Australia.
From 1999 to 2003, Regis was
Lecturer in Keyboard Studies and Repetiteur in Music Theatre at the Central
Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Central Queensland University in Mackay.
