Daniel has been teaching piano, keyboard, theory and composition privately for fifteen years, and has been playing for 22 years.  He is proficient in performing and teaching in a variety of styles, from classical to jazz to pop.

Daniel currently has students preparing for AMEB exams at various levels, but also has many students who learn simply for the enjoyment of music.  Students he has taught have successfully completed AMEB exams ranging from grade one to grade eight.

In addition to teaching music lessons privately, Daniel is a classroom music teacher at Bremer State High School, and is currently in his sixth year teaching.  Also, he is the Artistic Director (music), composer and a performer in Artisans Mission Collective, a group formed to present multi-media concerts in a variety of styles, beginning with their inaugural concert, Econtra, in 2001.  As well as this, he is Music Director at Ipswich Region Community Church.

Daniel’s education includes a Bachelor of Music (composition) from Griffith University, Queensland Conservatorium, an Associate Diploma in Music (pianoforte) from the Australian Music Examinations Board, and a Graduate Diploma in Education from Queensland University of Technology.
